Plot

Aurora is starting over. She just got out of a 14-year-long relationship and is looking to reinvent herself at 33 years old.

In her quest to start over, she rents an apartment in the one town that really felt like home, Pagosa Springs, CO. There is only one minor issue, the owner of the home was unaware of Aurora renting out his above garage apartment.

Tobias Rhodes is a 41 year old dad. Who just found out his 15 year old son rented out their garage apartment without his knowledge. To say he is mad is an understatement, and he immediately takes it out on Aurora.

Even though they start out on the wrong foot, Aurora soon charms her way into Rhodes’ life through her upbeat and positive outlook on life. The two become friends, and their friendship will become something the two of them never expected.

Review

This book was absolutely beautiful. The slow-burn relationship between the two characters unfolded at such a natural pace, which created a very heart-felt story.

Aurora has been through the wringer. She has been left, unappreciated, and looked over for almost half of her life. Mariana Zapata did a wonderful job showcasing these emotions. Aurora didn’t simply move on. She worked hard to overcome all of her insecurities and fears. I appreciate so much when an author focuses on a characters struggles and allows them to come to terms with them.

What I loved most about Aurora was her outlook on life. She was sunshine, believing that putting a positive outlook on life would encourage good things to happen to you. She worked hard at everything she set her mind to, and it was a very refreshing take and something Zapata nailed in this story.

Rhodes is everything you wish for in a book boyfriend. Not only is he an absolute silver fox, but he is a man. He protects his family and those he cares about. I love the way he is with his son, which is a very interesting situation on its own, but Zapata really made it work!

Anyone looking for their next epic romance read, please pick up “All Rhodes Lead Here.” You absolutely will not regret it!
