After getting drunk at a wedding, we both realized our love of books ran deep. We decided that there are others out there who love reading books (and drinking wine) just as much as we do.

So, long story short, we decided to start this awesome blog and podcast for other book lovers. Come join this amazing community of book lovers, and let’s all read together!

Hello everyone! My name is Mary, and I am super excited about this podcast adventure, even if no one ever listens. I am 31 and have spent the past 10 years as an officer in the United States Army. I look forward to continuing to serve. Outside of the Army, I enjoy a variety of hobbies. Most recently, I’ve been participating in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign and trying but failing to become a pottery expert. I have always loved to read, and jumped into the world of spicy books a few years ago reading a little series called ACOTAR. Ever heard of it? It’s been a love-love relationship ever since. I love exploring new tropes and pairings! Elizabeth and I met at a friends wedding and I overheard her talking about a spicy book with her sister in law and jumped right into the conversation. We became fast friends and over the wedding weekend came up with the idea for our podcast. What a crazy world. Can’t wait to have you all join us as we discuss all things spicy.

Hi everyone! As a mom, I found I had very little free time on my hands. Reading became a lifeline for me. It was a way to escape the everyday stress. Reading a good book is good for the soul, the equivalent being, drinking a fabulous glass of wine.

I am a mother to one amazing daughter and a dog mom to two crazy pups. I am also a military spouse, so we tend to do a lot of traveling and moving. Thankfully, I can do a lot of reading on those moves.

I am so thankful to be able to start this journey, and I hope we meet so many other book lovers along the way!
